The Camas Senior & Community Center provides nutrition services to seniors across all of Camas County. Just this past year we sent 727 warm meals to homes and served 4,123 meals in person at The Center building located in the heart of Fairfield. But our programs go beyond food – we work to reduce social isolation and focus on overall health and well-being of the community. We connect older adults with other community organizations such as the Camas Community Pantry that helps those in our area facing food insecurity, the American Legion, The Library, local schools, churches and more. On top of that, The Center hosts classes and workshops on a range of interests, such as gardening, tax preparation, and even Line Dancing if you need to get up and move. The goal is to be a hub and focal point for seniors and a community center for all residents of Camas County.
